The All About Dogs Show and J4 Promotions Inc., from the USA, are joining forces and are delighted to announce the introduction of North America’s fastest growing canine sport to the United Kingdom…

 

This new sport, aptly named, “Jetty Dogs”, challenges the dogs to run down a specially built forty-foot non-slip canine runway and jump headlong into a massive portable swimming pool, which sounds like absolute heaven to some dogs. The longest distance jumped ‘wins’. Dogs, handlers and spectators really enjoy the excitement of this spectacular sport and all love to watch the speeding dogs having a great time.  They equally enjoy the antics of owners who just can’t quite convince their best friends to make that first jump (lots of praise and rewards can be offered but NO pressure or force is allowed).

Some of America’s top JettyDogs trainers will be there to help get the biggest jumps and splashes from the daring dogs. The event will also be the debut of the first official UK club to the sport, East Midlands JettyDogs, featuring Jumpin’ Jack Splash. Jack is a black Flatcoat Retriever from Lincolnshire, who holds the European record with a 21 foot jump. Perhaps YOUR dog can try to beat him!

Prizes are awarded to all dogs that jump. Be it one foot, or twenty. All breeds, sizes, and mixes welcomed. Dogs compete against those of their own ability.
